KING STREET REOPENED

WCS AM Arrival / PM Departure and Lunch Drop Off/ Pick Up

  • Parent pick-up and drop-off is still designated to the south side of the school on 2nd Ave NW. There will be NO parking in this area. This is strictly a drop-off / pick-up and leave zone.

  • The south east parking lot entrance off 2nd Ave NW is strictly for Early Learning Centre, College, and WCS Staff use. Parents are NOT permitted to utilize the parking lots for pick-up or drop-off purposes.

  • The west (Eagles parking lot) will remain open for student and staff parking only.

  • Bus students will be dropped off and picked up in the bus hub outside the Cugnet Doors.

  • Use of King Street crosswalks and sidewalks needs to continue for the safety of all.

  • All parking spaces in lots East of WCS are for College only. They have shared WCS students, staff, and families are to not drive through or park there being King Street has reopened.

 

Drop off / Pick up during the school day for appointments

Please enter planned absences for appointments during the day in advance through Edsby or call the office. Students will need to inform their teacher of when they need to be released and this will need to be verified before the student is allowed to leave class. Students will then be released to exit from the South 1 or South 2 doors for pick up. School doors other than the Cugnet Center are locked during class time. Upon return between 9:30 and 3:00 parents may access the main entrance at the Cugnet Center to the school via the King Street entrance.
