We have had some community concerns issued to the school office about students dropping garbage on streets and in alleyways. Please make sure you are using garbage bins and keeping the community clean for everyone.

Please do not litter our streets and alleys with wrappers, bottles, etc. Use garbage bins!

Congratulations to Mrs. Margot Arnold!

On Monday, January 9th, SBTA (SK Business Teachers’ Association) wins the Sailing the Entrepreneur Ship Award sponsored by Gordon & Maureen Haddock and the U of S – Edwards School of Business. With this award provided by Gord & Maureen Haddock Get a Bigger Wagon Youth Entrepreneur Awards and the U of S – Edwards School of Business our association received $1500.00 cash for our organization and a plaque which will hang in Edwards School of Business. We are thrilled to win this award as we continue our advocacy for Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy with our business classes.

One of the resources they can help you with is the Bounceback for Youth which helps Saskatchewan Youth build skills to deal with stress and anxiety that they may be feeling.

NewAge Oilfield Services Inc. has donated $1000 towards our school’s breakfast program for students.

Hello WCS Students!
WCS will see an increase of three new teachers for semester two. As a result, there will be additional sections of some of our existing courses as well as one new elective course being offered at the high school level. Changes are currently being made to some schedules and those changes might not yet be seen in Edsby. The University of Alberta is inviting 20 lucky Grade 11 students to get away to the U of A!

The adventure will include transportation reimbursement (up to a maximum based on location), accommodations, meals and a jam-packed schedule of events.

Students will stay in residence, explore state-of-the-art facilities, uncover hidden gems on campus and experience U of A student life first-hand.

Students can learn more and apply at uab.ca/getaway before January 31, 2023.

• Appointments will open on Thursday, January 12th for any high school students who want to make changes to their semester two class schedule.
• Appointments will be available from January 27th – February 2nd.
• Students are asked to call the Main Office (306-842-7494) or to stop down at the Main Office to book an appointment.

The East school doors will not be unlocked due to caretaker and supervision availability. Students are to enter at South 1, 2, Eagles, and the Cugnet Centre Doors.
