October 17th is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! School bus drivers are often the first and last smile that students see at the start and end of each school day, & today we recognize and thank this important part of our school community for their dedication to getting our students safely to and from school each day.

Joining with communities across the country, SECPSD schools will be recognizing "Orange Shirt Day" on Friday, September 30th. This day is proclaimed federally as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and represents an opportunity for each one of us to think about residential schools, expand our understanding of this history and commit to growing together through education towards reconciliation.
